9. The worst leg of the journey, if you believe the Dutch

I really wish everyone would stop telling us the roads are bad, we know!!!

I didn’t think it was too bad and Joanna was still talking to me at the end of the journey. We saw some traditionally dressed Herero woman and Himba.

Best at the end of the journey we went to Cape Cross to the seal colony. A bit of a stench but I had no idea how many seals there would be. It was a long drive but I was happy to be in Swakopmund. The place was dead though.

We went hunting for hip and happening bars, men and wine. We found wine!

Tomorrow we go on a Atlantic sea cruise and dune driving.
