Seeing Clearly

I woke up today feeling quite low.  The combination of my work friend probably being made redundant, Joanna’s friends at the bank she works at being made redundant and all the negative news motivated me to get out for a walk today.

I went to Bushy park and was lucky to see the deer playing in the pond.

It was bright sunlight and the weather was glorious.  I also went and talked to my tree again, quietly as there were quite a few people around.

It did occur to me that the scenery was a little dim and blurry and then it hit me!  I forgot to put my contact lenses in.   Oh dear!

I did pick up a coffee and croissant on my way home and talked to the contractors who are cutting down the tree outside my window.  I guess I have something to look at today!
